The Story
Silver drachma featuring Alexander the Great.
A story of what was lost, what was sought, and what was worth finding.
Inspired by Luke 15:8–10, this textured mixed-media work draws from the ancient silver drachma and the parable of the woman who searched her home until she found what had been lost.
Through layers of plaster, texture, and relief, the coin becomes a symbol of something far greater than its material worth — the immeasurable value of a soul in the eyes of God.
