The Story
Where we place our trust when courage is demanded.
Not in Horses explores the contrast between the strength we place in worldly power and the deeper confidence found in God. Inspired by Psalm 20:8, the work invites us to consider where we place our trust when circumstances demand courage, security, and strength.
Built through layers of plaster relief and mixed-media elements, the textured surface gives physical form to this timeless Biblical truth. What appears powerful and dependable can ultimately fail, but faith in God remains steadfast.
A reminder that our confidence is not found in what we possess or what we can control, but in the One we trust.
